AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty-three Thousand Three
Hundred Dollars ($63,300.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction
of a paved channel in Channel Repairs No. 8 (S-2217, C-1318), in
the City of Olivette, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said paved
channel is Fifty-three Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-five Dollars
($53,925.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees, and
allowance for construction change orders is Nine Thousand Three
Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($9,375.00),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty-three Thousand Three
Hundred Dollars ($63,300.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project
costs for the construction of a paved channel in Channel Repairs
No. 8 (S-2217, C-1318), in the City of Olivette, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 27, 1988.
