AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Thousand Three Hundred
Dollars ($6,300.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Lynn Haven to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Town & Country No.
7297 (87046), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Four Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($4,950.00), and the
cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders
is One Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1,350.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Two Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($2,100.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Lynn Haven, and
WHEREAS, the City of Hazelwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Two Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($2,100.00) toward the
total costs of said project, upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lynn Haven, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Thousand Three Hundred
Dollars ($6,300.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lynn Haven to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Town & Country No. 7297 (87046), in the City of Hazelwood,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 27, 1988.
