AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title or interest of
the District in a portion of Shacht Avenue in Berkeley, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of this land has requested that this
District vacate any right, title, or interest that it may have in
the portion of the subject street, and this District has no
further use for said portion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
hereby vacates any right, title, or interest that it may have in
the following described portion of Shacht Avenue, in Berkeley,
Missouri: A tract of land in U.S. Survey 2476 and 3082, Township 46 North, Range 6 East and described as follows: Commencing at a point at the intersection of the Easterly line of Middleway Avenue and the North line of Block 1 of Ramona Park Subdivision, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 17, Page 33, of the St. Louis County Recorders office; thence North 14 degrees 17 minutes West (assumed for purpose of this description) a distance of 181.93 feet along the Easterly line of Middleway Avenue; thence continuing along the Easterly line of Middleway Avenue North 15 degrees 14 minutes West a distance of 31.32 feet; thence continuing along the Easterly line of Middleway Avenue North 16 degrees 11 minutes West a distance of 12.10 feet, to the point of beginning of the parcel herein described, said point being also the Southeasterly corner of a parcel 40' wide described in Book 3170, Page 35 of the St. Louis County Records; thence continuing along the Easterly line of Middleway Avenue North 16 degrees 11 minutes West a distance of 42.13 feet to a point being the Northwesterly corner of said parcel 40' wide, now known as Shacht Avenue, a public street in the City of Berkeley; thence North 55 degrees 30 minutes East a distance of 195.89 feet along the Northerly right-of-way of said Shacht Avenue to a point in the Southerly line of North Hanley Road of variable width; thence South 56 degrees 54 minutes East a distance of 43.26 feet along the Southerly line of said North Hanley Road to a point; thence South 55 degrees 30 minutes West a distance of 225.62 feet along a line parallel to and 40' Southeast of the Northerly right-of-way of said Shacht Avenue, as recorded in Book 3170, Page 35 of the St. Louis County Records. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 9, 1988.
