AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-two Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($22,200.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Frontenac Forest No.
145 (86138), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Eighteen Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-three Dollars
($18,783.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees, and
allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Four
Hundred Seventeen Dollars ($3,417.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($7,400.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Frontenac, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($7,400.00) toward
the total costs of said project, upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-two Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($22,200.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Frontenac Forest No. 145 (86138), in the City of
Frontenac, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 9, 1988.
