HomeMy Public PortalAbout07423 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7423 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Five Dollars ($18,105.00) from the General Fund of the District to be used for the construction of sanitary sewers, together with repayment of expenses incurred by the District in connection with such construction project known as Subdistrict No. 87157 (Wells Road, 5904-5936) in St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, the participating real property owners in such Subdistrict have paid to the District Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Five Dollars ($18,105.00) for the total costs of said project, and have contracted with Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. to install a certain sewer system within and for such Subdistrict, and WHEREAS, upon satisfactory completion of such project, the District is to pay over to such contractor from such funds, its installation cost; retain in its General Fund of the District its incurred expenses, for engineering, survey and inspection, construction staking, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders, and return any unexpended balance to the contributors thereof, pro rata, WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Five Dollars ($18,105.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to be used for the construction of sanitary sewers, together with repayment of expenses incurred by the District in connection with such construction project known as Subdistrict No. 87157 (Wells Road, 5904-5936), in St. Louis County, Missouri, and any unused portion thereof shall be returned to the contributors pro rata. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 13, 1988. -2-
