AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-seven Thousand Six
Hundred Dollars ($87,600.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Hood No.
2511 (86003), in the City of Overland, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Sixty-nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty-nine Dollars
($69,169.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees, and
allowance for construction change orders is Eighteen Thousand Four
Hundred Thirty-one Dollars ($18,431.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($29,200.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Overland, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Twenty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($29,200.00)
toward the total costs of said project, upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-seven Thousand Six
Hundred Dollars ($87,600.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Hood No. 2511 (86003), in the City of Overland,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 13, 1988.
