HomeMy Public PortalAbout07436 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7436 AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title or interest of the District in a street, being part of Lot 2 of Washington Ross Estate Partition, part of Lot 2 of the Subdivision of Hartley Sappington Tract and lying partly in U.S. Surveys 433 and 1929, Township 46 North, Range 5 East, St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has agreed to grant to the District suitable alternate easements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District hereby vacates any right, title or interest that it may have in the following described street, Old Fee Fee Road: Beginning at a point in the Northwest line of Old Fee Fee Road, 40 feet wide; said point being also the most Southern corner of property conveyed to David C. Wiley and wife as recorded in Parcel No. 1 of deed recorded in Book 7063, Page 374 of the St. Louis County Records; thence Northeastwardly along the said Northwest line of Old Fee Fee Road, 40 feet wide, North 55 degrees 33 minutes 52 seconds East 255.42 feet and along a curve to the right whose radius point bears South 34 degrees 26 minutes 08 seconds East 612.38 feet from the last mentioned point a distance of 99.91 feet to a point; thence South 44 degrees 43 minutes 08 seconds East 105.19 feet to a point in the Northwest line of Fee Fee Road (relocated), 60 feet wide; thence Southwestwardly along a curve to the left whose radius point bears South 44 degrees 12 minutes 39 seconds East 1462.23 feet from the last mentioned point, a distance of 74.03 feet to a point in the common line between U.S. Survey 1929 and U.S. Survey 433; being also the North line of property conveyed to Union Electric Light and Power Company by deed recorded in Book 1197, Page 205 of the St. Louis County Records; thence Westwardly along said North line of Union Electric Light and Power Company property North 82 degrees 01 minute 52 seconds West 127.60 feet to a point in the Southeast line of aforesaid Old Fee Fee Road, 40 feet wide; thence Southwestwardly along the said Southeast line of Old Fee Fee Road, 40 feet wide, South 55 degrees 33 minutes 52 seconds West 196.00 feet to a point in the centerline of abandoned right-of-way of Missouri Pacific Railroad (Creve Coeur branch); said line being also the Southeast prolongation of the Southwest line of property conveyed to David C. Wiley and wife as recorded in Parcel No. 1 of deed recorded in Book 7063, Page 374 of the St. Louis County Records; thence Northwestwardly along said Southwest line North 49 degrees 34 minutes 55 seconds West 41.44 feet to the point of beginning and containing 0.530 acres according to calculations by Volz Engineering & Surveying, Inc on April 10, 1987. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 27, 1988. -2-
