HomeMy Public PortalAbout07442 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7442 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($710,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Paddock Creek South of Lindbergh Phase I (87134), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. WHEREAS,the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Five Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Seven Hundred Forty- six and 20/100 Dollars ($575,746.20), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-five and 80/100 Dollars ($13,425.80),and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Florissant, Missouri has agreed to contribute Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) toward the total costs of said project, upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($710,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Paddock Creek South of Lindbergh Phase I (87134), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 27, 1988. -2-
