AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title or interest of
the District in Roosevelt Ave., in Township 44 North, Range 6
East, in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of this land has requested that this
District vacate any right, title or interest that it may have in
Roosevelt Ave., and this District has no further use for this
street,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
hereby vacates any right, title or interest that it may have in
the following described street: Beginning at the intersection of the Northern right-of-way line of Roosevelt Avenue, fifty feet wide, and the Eastern right-of-way line of Interstate Route 55; thence Southeastwardly along the said Northern line of Roosevelt Avenue, South 54 degrees 23 minutes 09 seconds East a distance of 786.62 feet, more or less to its intersection with the Western line of Avenue "I", thence Southwardly along the said Western line of Avenue "I", South 35 degrees 58 minutes 35 seconds West a distance of 50.01 feet, more or less, to a point at its intersection with the Southern line of said Roosevelt Avenue, said point also being the Northeastern corner of property conveyed to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District by instrument recorded in Book 7341, Page 1755 of the St. Louis County Records; thence Northwestwardly along the said Southern line of Roosevelt Avenue, South 54 degrees 23 minutes 09 seconds East a distance of 804.67 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the aforesaid Eastern right-of-way line of Interstate Route 55, thence Northeastwardly along the said Eastern line of Interstate Route 55, North 55 degrees, 47 minutes East a distance of 53.27 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 11, 1988.
