AN ORDINANCE, vacating all right, title or interest of
the District in the public sewer and easement in City Block 1237
of the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of the land has requested that the
District vacate all right, title or interest that it may have in
the subject sewer and easement, and the District has no further
use for said sewer or easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
hereby vacates all right, title or interest that it may have in
the following described sewer and easement, to wit:
A 20 foot wide strip of land, being a portion of the 20 foot
wide sewer easement, created by Ordinance 8430 and 8703, of
the City of St. Louis, being part of Lot 8, in Block 1237, of
the City of St. Louis, Missouri; the centerline of said 20
foot wide strip, being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Southwestern line of Broadway, 80
feet wide, distant 360 feet Northeast of its intersection
with the Northeastern line of Penrose Street, 40 feet wide;
thence Southwestwardly 140.00 feet along a line parallel with
the Northwestern line of said Penrose Street, to the
Northeastern line of a former alley, 15 feet wide, in said
block, vacated by Ordinance No. 55584, and the point of
termination of the herein described centerline.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 15, 1988.
