AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($3,050,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction
of sanitary sewers in Watkins Creek-Spanish Lake Relief Sewer (S-
2138, C-1320), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of sanitary
sewers is Two Million Eight Hundred Twenty-three Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty-five Dollars ($2,823,255.00), and the cost of
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
fees and allowance for construction change orders is Two Hundred
Twenty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-five Dollars
($226,745.00),and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($3,050,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in Watkins Creek-Spanish Lake
Relief Sewer (S-2138, C-1320), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 15, 1988.
