HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 75-14691 1 1 RESOLUTION NO. 75 -1469 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY VACATING A PORTION OF WEDGEWOOD STREET WESTERLY OF ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE, ORDER AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The public interest and convenience require and the City of Temple City does in the manner herein set forth vacate that portion of that certain street in said City described as follows: Wedgewood Avenue between 337.74 ft. west of the centerline of Rosemead Boulevard to the Eaton Wash SECTION 2. The City Council finds from all the evidence submitted that the portion of Wedgewood Street is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 8323 of the Streets and Highways Code, the City Council hereby orders such street vacated. SECTION 3. A map or plan indicating by boundary lines the extent of the property included in the vacation is on file in the office of the City Clerk and reference is hereby made to said map or plan for a further full and complete description of all property comprising the aforesaid street vacated as declared herein. SECTION 4. These proceedings are taken under and by virtue of the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, as amended, being Sections 8300 to 8331, inclusive, of the Streets and High- ways Code of the State of California. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED and ADOPTED this llth day of August, 1975.
