AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand One Hundred Eleven Dollars ($124,111.00) from the General
Fund of the District to reimburse the City of Maryland Heights,
Missouri for funds expended by said City for the Saturn stormwater
project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Maryland
Heights, Missouri's share of the project cost will be Two Hundred
Forty-eight Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-three Dollars
($248,223.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided One Hundred
Twenty-four Thousand One Hundred Eleven Dollars ($124,111.00)
toward the project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Saturn
stormwater project is Three Hundred Seventy-two Thousand Three
Hundred Thirty-four Dollars ($372,334.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand One Hundred Eleven Dollars ($124,111.00) is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund of the District to reimburse
the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri for funds expended by said
City for the Saturn stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 13, 1988.
