AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-seven and 25/100 Dollars
($124,577.25) from the General Fund of the District for the State
of Missouri's and St. Louis County, Missouri's share of the costs
of the Lockport Drive to Domenico Court stormwater project, in the
City of Bridgeton, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project is part of St. Louis County,
Missouri's $5 Million Stormwater Bond Issue Program, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 6994, adopted March 11, 1987,
authorized the District's participation in said program, and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri's share of the project
cost is Seventy-four Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-seven and
25/100 Dollars ($74,577.25), and said amount has been deposited
with the District, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri's share of the
project cost is Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), and said
amount has been deposited with the District, and
WHEREAS, the City of Bridgeton, Missouri's share of the
project cost is Ninety-nine Thousand One Hundred Fifty-four and
51/100 Dollars ($99,154.51), and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the Lockport Drive to
Domenico Court stormwater project is Two Hundred Twenty-three
Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-one and 76/100 Dollars
($223,731.76), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-seven and 25/100 Dollars
($124,577.25) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District for the District's, the State of Missouri's and St. Louis
County, Missouri's share of the cost of the Lockport Drive to
Domenico Court stormwater project in the City of Bridgeton,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 13, 1988.
