AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-three Thousand Three
Hundred Sixty-one and 20/100 Dollars ($43,361.20) from the
Improvement Fund to be used for the construction of sanitary
sewers, together with repayment of expenses incurred by the
District in connection with such construction project known as
Subdistrict No. 88099 (Marine Lane Sanitary Extension) in St.
Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the participating real property owners in such
Subdistrict have paid to the District Forty-three Thousand Three
Hundred Sixty-one and 20/100 Dollars ($43,361.20) for the total
costs of said project, and have contracted with Bates Utility
Company, to install a certain sewer system within and for such
Subdistrict, and
WHEREAS, upon satisfactory completion of such project,
the District is to pay over to such contractor from such funds,
its installation cost; retain in its Improvement Fund its incurred
expenses, for engineering, survey and inspection, construction
staking, easement charges and allowance for construction change
orders, and return any unexpended balance to the contributors
thereof, pro rata,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:

Section One. The sum of Forty-three Thousand Three
Hundred Sixty-one and 20/100 Dollars ($43,361.20) is hereby
appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for the
construction of sanitary sewers, together with repayment of
expenses incurred by the District in connection with such
construction project known as Subdistrict No. 88099 (Marine Lane
Sanitary Extension), in St. Louis County, Missouri, and any unused
portion thereof shall be returned to the contributors pro rata.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 24, 1988.
