AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty-eight
Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($138,750.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
and sanitary sewers in Terrace Gardens Storm Sewer (S-229, C-
1323), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Nineteen Thousand Fourteen Dollars
($119,014.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees and
allowance for construction change orders is Nineteen Thousand
Seven Hundred Thirty-six Dollars ($19,736.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Forty-six Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($46,250.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Frontenac, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Forty-six Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars
($46,250.00) toward the total costs of said project, upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-eight
Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($138,750.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Terrace Gardens
Storm Sewer (S-229, C-1323), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 28, 1988.
