AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-three Thousand
Dollars ($23,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Ballas Road #2055
North (86163) in the City of Des Peres, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Nineteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars
($19,350.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees and
allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Six
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,650.00), and
WHEREAS, the City of Des Peres, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($11,500.00)
toward the total costs of said project, upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-three Thousand Dollars
($23,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Ballas Road #2055 North (86163), in the City of Des Peres,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
