AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($50,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Airshire
Place No. 22 (S-2103, C-1327), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Forty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Two and 50/100 Dollars
($41,902.50), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees and
allowance for construction change orders is Eight Thousand Five
Hundred Ninety-seven and 50/100 Dollars ($8,597.50), and
WHEREAS, the City of Hazelwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Twenty-five Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars
($25,250.00) toward the total costs of said project, upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($50,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Airshire Place No. 22 (S-2103, C-1327), in the City of
Hazelwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1988.
