AN ORDINANCE, confirming a contract with Air Comfort
Service, Inc. for the installation of Heat/Cool Rooftop Units
providing zoned climate control for the northeast portion of the
District's General Offices building at 2000 Hampton Avenue, in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Air Comfort Service, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the installation of Heat/Cool Rooftop
Units providing zoned climate control for the northeast portion of
the District's General Offices building at 2000 Hampton Avenue, in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 4th day of November, 1988 and formally executed on
the 8th day of November, 1988 by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District, is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
Section Two. The installation of the Heat/Cool
Rooftop Units as authorized above is necessary for the orderly
operation of the District, and must proceed without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1988.
