AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-nine Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($49,700.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the rebuilding of inlets, manholes and replacing
sewer pipe in Maintenance Repairs No. 135 (87053), in the Cities
of Crestwood, Kirkwood and Webster Groves, and St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said inlets,
manholes and pipe is Forty-two Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-three
Dollars ($42,233.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for
construction change orders is Seven Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-
seven Dollars ($7,467.00),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-nine Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($49,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the rebuilding of
inlets, manholes and replacing sewer pipe in Maintenance Repairs
No. 135 (87053), in the Cities of Crestwood, Kirkwood and Webster
Groves, and St. Louis County, Missouri.

Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 23, 1988.
