AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nineteen Thousand Dollars
($19,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Duke #10540-#10556 (88060), in
St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Dollars ($15,220.00),
and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement fees and allowance for construction
change orders is Three Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Dollars
($3,780.00), and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Nine Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($9,500.00) toward
the total costs of said project, upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nineteen Thousand Dollars
($19,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Duke #10540-
#10556 (88060), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.

The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 23, 1988.
