AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($20,400.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used
for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Edmundson and Ambro Sanitary Sewer Subdistrict (88096), in the
City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-six and 22/100
Dollars ($18,896.22), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and easement fees is One
Thousand Five Hundred Three and 78/100 Dollars ($1,503.78), and
WHEREAS, the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri,
pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has
agreed to contribute Twenty Thousand Four Hundred Dollars
($20,400.00) toward the total costs of said project, upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Improvement Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty Thousand Four Hundred
Dollars ($20,400.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary
sewers in Edmundson and Ambro Sanitary Sewer Subdistrict (88096),
in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 23, 1988.
