AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty-three
Thousand Dollars ($253,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Wedgewood Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Wedgewood
Creek Section V (88064), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Two Hundred Thirty-six Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-
seven Dollars ($236,537.00), and the cost of inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for
construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-
three Dollars ($16,463.00), and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Twenty-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($126,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Wedgewood Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-three
Thousand Dollars ($253,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Wedgewood Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Wedgewood Creek Section V (88064), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 1988.
