AN ORDINANCE appropriating One Million Nine Hundred
Forty Thousand Dollars ($1,940,000.00) from the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund, for Contracts E-561 (additional
design services for the Meramec Bottoms Interceptor Pump Station),
E-645 (engineering services during construction of the Meramec
Bottoms Interceptor Pump Station) and 86143 (construction of the
Meramec Bottoms Interceptor Pump Station), in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Meramec
Bottoms Interceptor Pump Station is One Million Five Hundred
Ninety-eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,598,500.00), the
cost of additional design services is Thirty-one Thousand Nine
Hundred Ninety-seven Dollars ($31,997.00), the cost of engineering
services during construction is Two Hundred Ten Thousand Three
Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($210,328.00), and the cost of
advertisement, utility relocations and allowance for change orders
is Ninety-nine Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars
($99,175.00), and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the District has
heretofore adopted Ordinance No. 7543 (establishing a schedule of
Capital Improvement Surcharges to be deposited in the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund) which will provide additional
revenues for the current budget year, and pursuant to Section
7.120 of the Plan of the District the Executive Director has
estimated that the amount to be actually received therefrom during
the current budget year will equal or exceed the amount of the
appropriation effected herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Nine Hundred
Forty Thousand Dollars ($1,940,000.00) is hereby appropriated from
the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to pay the costs
for Contracts E-561 (additional design services for the Meramec
Bottoms Interceptor Pump Station), E-645 (engineering services
during construction of the Meramec Bottoms Interceptor Pump
Station) and 86143 (construction of the Meramec Bottoms
Interceptor Pump Station), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 1988.
