HomeMy Public PortalAbout07629 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7629 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($418,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System, Gratiot Street and Cedar Street Combined Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-02A, C-1324), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Gratiot Street and Cedar Street Combined Sewer Rehabilitation is Three Hundred Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($398,000.00), and the cost of advertisement and allowance for change orders is Twenty Thousand Dollars $($20,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the District has heretofore adopted Ordinance No. 7543 (establishing a schedule of Capital Improvement Surcharges to be deposited in the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund) which will provide additional revenues for the current budget year, and pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District the Executive Director has estimated that the amount to be actually received therefrom during the current budget year will equal or exceed the amount of the appropriation effected herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($418,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System, Gratiot Street and Cedar Street Combined Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-02A, C-1324), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 1988.
