HomeMy Public PortalAbout07630 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7630 AN ORDINANCE, confirming a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System, Gratiot Street and Cedar Street Combined Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-02A, C-1324), in the City of St. Louis Missouri in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Insituform Missouri, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System, Gratiot Street and Cedar Street Combined Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-02A, C-1324), in the City of St. Louis Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District pursuant to bids received and opened on the 13th day of October, 1988, and formally executed on the 13th day of December, 1988, by said contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Two. The provisions of the Clean Water Act of the United States of America require that this project proceed without delay, thus creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 1988.
