AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to St. Paul Fire and
Marine Insurance Company, for the District's Workers' Compensation
and Commercial General Liability Insurance coverages under the
Owner Controlled Insurance Program during the construction of the
Bissell Point Secondary Treatment Improvements at the Bissell
Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, from December 26, 1988 to August 31, 1993, with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance
Company, who submitted a quote for the District's Workers'
Compensation and Commercial General Liability insurance, at a
premium of Nine Million Two Hundred Ninety Thousand Nine Hundred
One Dollars ($9,290,901.00) for such policy period, is hereby
awarded the contract for such Workers' Compensation and Commercial
General Liability insurance coverages from December 26, 1988 to
August 31, 1993.
Section Two. The provisions of the Clean Water Act of
the United States of America require that this project proceed
without delay, thus creating an emergency within the meaning of
the Plan. Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 1988.
