HomeMy Public PortalAbout07654 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7654 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($20,850.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Manhattan & Tallie Phase I (86198), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Eight and 80/100 Dollars ($17,808.80), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees and allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Forty- one and 20/100 Dollars ($3,041.20), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Six Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($6,950.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Des Peres, Missouri has agreed to contribute Six Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($6,950.00) toward the total costs of said project, upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($20,850.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Manhattan & Tallie Phase I (86198), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 28, 1988.
