HomeMy Public PortalAbout07656 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7656 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-three and 21/100 Dollars ($131,853.21) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek for the District's share of the costs of the Green Valley Drive stormwater project, in St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, said project is part of St. Louis County, Missouri's $5 Million Stormwater Bond Issue Program, and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 6994, adopted March 11, 1987, authorized the District's participation in said Program, and WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri's share of the project cost is One Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-three and 21/00 ($131,853.21), and WHEREAS, the total cost for the Green Valley Drive stormwater project is Two Hundred Sixty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Six and 42/100 Dollars ($263,706.42), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-three and 21/100 Dollars ($131,853.21) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek for the District's share of the costs of the Green Valley Drive stormwater project in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 28, 1988.
