AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million One Hundred
Sixty Thousand Dollars ($3,160,000.00) from the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund, for Contracts E-489 (additional
design services for the Bonfils Area Interception System Contract
1 - Pump Station), E-629 (engineering services during construction
of the Bonfils Area Interception System Contract 1 -Pump Station)
and 86056 (construction of the Bonfils Area Interception System
Contract 1 - Pump Station), in the City of Bridgeton, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Bonfils
Area Interception System Contract 1 - Pump Station is Two Million
Five Hundred Three Thousand Dollars ($2,503,000.00), the cost of
additional design services is Eighty-four Thousand Dollars
($84,000.00), the cost of engineering services during construction
is Four Hundred Sixteen Thousand Sixty-two Dollars ($416,062.00),
and the cost of utility relocations and allowance for change
orders is One Hundred Fifty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-eight
Dollars ($156,938.00), and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the District has
heretofore adopted Ordinance No. 7543 (establishing a schedule of
Capital Improvement Surcharges to be deposited in the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund) which will provide additional
revenues for the current budget year, and pursuant to Section
7.120 of the Plan of the District the Executive Director has
estimated that the amount to be actually received therefrom during
the current budget year will equal or exceed the amount of the
appropriation effected herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million One Hundred
Sixty Thousand Dollars ($3,160,000.00) is hereby appropriated from
the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to pay the costs
for Contracts E-489 (additional design services for the Bonfils
Area Interception System Contract 1 - Pump Station), E-629
(engineering services during construction of the Bonfils Area
Interception System Contract 1 - Pump Station) and 86056
(construction of the Bonfils Area Interception System Contract 1 -
Pump Station), in the City of Bridgeton, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 1989.
