AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Physicians
Health Plan for the District's Employee Health Care Program for
the period February 1, 1989 to January 31, 1990.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract
with Physicians Health Plan for the District's Employee Health
Care Program for the period February 1, 1989 to January 31, 1990.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One
of this Ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the Assistant Executive Director and General
Counsel.
Section Three. The District's Employee Health Care
Program as hereby prescribed is essential for the operation of the
District, and requires enactment without delay, thus creating an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this
Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 1989.
