AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Seventy-six
Thousand Dollars ($876,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital
Improvement Trust Fund, for Contract E-644 (engineering services
during construction of the Bonfils Area Interception System
Contract 3 - Gravity Sewer), and 87173 (construction of the
Bonfils Area Interception System Contract 3 - Gravity Sewer), in
the City of Bridgeton, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Bonfils
Area Interception System Contract 3 - Gravity Sewer is Seven
Hundred Forty-eight Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-four Dollars
($748,884.00), the cost of engineering services during
construction is Eighty-five Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-three
Dollars ($85,893.00), and the allowance for change orders is
Forty-one Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-three Dollars ($41,223.00),
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the Executive Director has estimated that the
appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the
end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Seventy-six
Thousand Dollars ($876,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to pay the costs for
Contract E-644 (engineering services during construction of the
Bonfils Area Interception System Contract 3 - Gravity Sewer) and
87173 (construction of the Bonfils Area Interception System
Contract 3 - Gravity Sewer), in the City of Bridgeton, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 21, 1989.
