HomeMy Public PortalAbout07720 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7720 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-nine Thousand Five Hundred ($129,500.00) Dollars from the General Fund of the District to be used for engineering and construction costs for the removal of asbestos material and restoration of work areas at the Hampton Avenue offices (89111), WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is Ninety-one Thousand Eight Hundred ($91,800.00) Dollars, and the cost of engineering and allowance for construction change orders is Thirty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred ($37,700.00) Dollars, WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-nine Thousand Five Hundred ($129,500.00) Dollars is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to be used for engineering and construction costs for the removal of asbestos material and restoration of work areas at the Hampton Avenue offices (89111). Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 21, 1989.
