AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-six Thousand Nine
Hundred Ninety-seven and 57/100 Dollars ($46,997.57) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek for the District's share of the costs of the
Briarstone stormwater project, in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project is part of St. Louis County,
Missouri's $5 Million Stormwater Bond Issue Program, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 6994, adopted March 11, 1987,
authorized the District's participation in said Program, and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri's share of the project
cost is Forty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-seven and 57/100
Dollars ($46,997.57), and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri's share of the
project cost is Forty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-seven and
57/100 Dollars ($46,997.57), and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the Briarstone stormwater
project is One Hundred Forty Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-two and
71/100 Dollars ($140,992.71), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-six Thousand Nine
Hundred Ninety-seven and 57/100 Dollars ($46,997.57) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek for the District's share of the
costs of the Briarstone stormwater project in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 12, 1989.
