AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Seven Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($4,700,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital
Improvement Trust Fund, for Contracts E-489 (additional design
services for the Bonfils Area Interception System Contract 2 -
Force Mains), E-643 (engineering services during construction of
the Bonfils Area Interception System Contract 2 - Force Mains),
and 87099 (construction of the Bonfils Area Interception System
Contract 2 - Force Mains), in the City of Bridgeton, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Bonfils
Area Interception System Contract 2 - Force Mains is Three Million
Nine Hundred Eight-two Thousand One Hundred Thirty-six Dollars
($3,982,136.00), the cost of additional design services is
Seventy-five Thousand Six Hundred Eight-two Dollars ($75,682.00),
the cost of engineering services during construction is Four
Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-three Dollars
($421,733.00), and the allowance for change orders is Two Hundred
Twenty Thousand Four Hundred Forty-nine Dollars ($220,449.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Seven Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($4,700,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to pay the costs for
Contracts E-489 (additional design services for the Bonfils Area
Interception System Contract 2 - Force Mains), E-643 (engineering
services during construction of the Bonfils Area Interception
System Contract 2 - Force Mains) and 87099 (construction of the
Bonfils Area Interception System Contract 2 - Force Mains), in the
City of Bridgeton, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 12, 1989.
