A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF SANBORN AVENUE AND BIRCH
STREET ATHREE-WAY STOP INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, staff received a request to review the traffic safety at
the intersection of Birch Street and Sanborn Avenue; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed relevant data relative to safety at
this intersection; and
WHEREAS, this intersection is recommended by staff to be
designated as a three-way stop intersection.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve, order,
and determine as follows:
Section 1. That City Council of the City of Lynwood designates
Birch Street and Sanborn Avenue athree-way stop intersection.
Section 2. That the City Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect
the necessary stop signs.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of May 2008.
