AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-one Thousand Dollars
($91,000.00) from the Mississippi River Construction Fund to be
used for project costs for the emergency construction of combined
sewers in Infrastructure Repair No. 1 (23rd & Palm) 89073, in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the emergency construction of said
combined sewers is Eighty Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-five
Dollars ($80,835.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, and allowance for construction change orders
is Ten Thousand One Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($10,165.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-one Thousand Dollars
($91,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi River
Construction Fund to be used for project costs for the emergency
construction of combined sewers in Infrastructure Repair No. 1
(23rd & Palm) 89073, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 12, 1989.
