AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Million Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($9,400,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital
Improvement Trust Fund for the project costs for the construction
of the Bissell Point Secondary Treatment Operating Center (BP-6,
C-89091) Federal Project C290641, at the Bissell Point Wastewater
Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Bissell
Point Secondary Treatment Operating Center is Eight Million Nine
Hundred Forty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-nine Dollars
($8,946,999.00), and the allowance for change orders is Four
Hundred Fifty-three Thousand One Dollars ($453,001.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Million Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($9,400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to pay the District's
share of the project costs for the construction of the Bissell
Point Secondary Treatment Operating Center (BP-6, C-89091) Federal
Project No. C-290641, at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment
Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 10, 1989.
