AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-four Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($44,400.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Dana 9500
Block (88058), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Thirty-seven Thousand Three Hundred Forty and 50/100
Dollars ($37,340.50), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees, and
allowance for construction change orders is Seven Thousand Fifty-
nine and 50/100 Dollars ($7,059.50), and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Twenty-two Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($22,200.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-four Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($44,400.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Dana 9500 Block (88058), in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 1989.
