AN ORDINANCE, transferring Eighty-nine Thousand Dollars
($89,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek, and
appropriating Five Hundred Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($513,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Paddock Creek South of Lindbergh Phase II
(88180), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Three Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-
nine Dollars ($327,589.00), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, allowance
for construction change orders, and extended channel work is One
Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Four Hundred Eleven Dollars
($185,411.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) toward the total costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Eighty-nine Thousand Dollars ($89,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-nine Thousand Dollars
($89,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Paddock Creek.
Section Two. The sum of Five Hundred Thirteen Thousand
Dollars ($513,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Paddock Creek South of Lindbergh Phase II (88180), in the City of
Florissant, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 1989.
