AN ORDINANCE, transferring Eighty-five Thousand Dollars
($85,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Blackjack-Dellwood Creek to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and
appropriating Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($430,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Landseer-Ebert Phase III (89016), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Two Hundred Seventy-two Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-
nine ($272,999.00), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, allowance for construction change
orders, and extended project work is One Hundred Fifty-seven
Thousand One Dollars ($157,001.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) toward the total costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Ninety-five Thousand Dollars ($195,000.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-five Thousand Dollars
($85,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Blackjack-Dellwood Creek to
the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Maline Creek.
Section Two. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($430,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Landseer-Ebert Phase III (89016), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 1989.
