AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Forty-five
Thousand Dollars ($445,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Construction Fund for emergency sewer repairs in Infrastructure
Repair No. 2 (89078), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for said emergency sewer repairs is
Three Hundred Eighty-four Thousand Three Hundred Ten Dollars
($384,310.00) and the cost of engineering, inspection, and
allowance for construction change orders is Sixty Thousand Six
Hundred Ninety Dollars ($60,690.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Forty-five
Thousand Dollars ($445,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Construction Fund for emergency sewer repairs in
Infrastructure Repair No. 2 (89078), in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 1989.
