AN ORDINANCE, confirming a contract with Insituform of
Missouri, Inc. for emergency sewer repairs in Infrastructure
Repair No. 2 (89078), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District, with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Insituform of Missouri, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder, for emergency sewer repairs in Infrastructure
Repair No. 2 (89078), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, within
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 2nd day of June 1989 and formally
executed on the 13th day of June 1989 by said contractor and by
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District, is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
Section Two. The repairs as specified in said contract
are necessary for the preservation of public health, and must be
performed without delay. Accordingly, an emergency exists within
the meaning of the Plan, and this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 1989.
