AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY BUDGET THE SUM
OF THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND FOURTY-NINE DOLLARS ($3,549.00) FROM
FREIGHT, EXPR. & DRAY. (2-21-211) TO STATIONERY & PRINTING "SUPPLIES"
(3-36-362) ($49.00); FROM HOSPITAL INSURANCE (5-57) "CURRENT CHARGES" TO
GASOLINE (3-32-321) "SUPPLIES" ($2,000.00); FROM CONTRIBUTION PUBLIC
EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT (6-64) "CURRENT OBLIGATIONS" TO TIRES AND TUBES
(3-32-323) "SUPPLIES" ($1,000.00); AND FROM CONTRIBUTION PUBLIC EMPLOYEES
RETIREMENT (6-64) "CURRENT OBLIGATIONS" TO TRAVELING EXPENSES (2-21-213)
"SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" ($500.00) .
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adop-
tion of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appro-
priate more money for various function of the City Government than was
appropriated to the annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions
for the year ending December 31, 1973, the following amount of money is
hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the
purpose specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same.
Such amount shall be held to include all expenditures to be made during
the year unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated the
following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency that exists:

GASOLINE (3-32-321) "SUPPLIES" 2,000.00
TIRES AND TUBES (3-32-323) "SUPPLIES" 1,000.00
TRAVELING EXPENSES (2-21-213) "SERVICES CONT." 500.00
3,549.00
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations
now have unobligated balances which will not be used for purpose which
appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriation be now reduced in
amount as follows:

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the
State of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations.
