AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ten Thousand
Dollars ($210,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Clayton Central to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Pershing &
Linden (87159) in the City of Clayton, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Eighty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-four
and 15/100 Dollars ($181,764.15) and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, and
allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-eight Thousand
Two Hundred Thirty-five and 85/100 Dollars ($28,235.85).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ten Thousand
Dollars ($210,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Clayton Central
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Pershing & Linden (87159) in the City of Clayton, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 12, 1989.
