AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-seven
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($127,200.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for project costs for the rebuilding of inlets, manholes and
replacing sewer pipe in Maintenance Repair Number 37 (85057), in
the Cities of Maplewood, Richmond Heights, Clayton, Olivette,
Brentwood, Ladue, Creve Coeur and University City, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the rebuilding of said inlets,
manholes, and replacing sewer pipe is One Hundred Nine Thousand
Four Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($109,475.00) and the cost of
engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs
and allowance for construction change orders is Seventeen Thousand
Seven Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($17,725.00),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-seven
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($127,200.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the rebuilding of
inlets, manholes and replacing sewer pipe in Maintenance Repair
Number 37 (85057) in the Cities of Maplewood, Richmond Heights,
Clayton, Olivette, Brentwood, Ladue, Creve Coeur and University
City, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 12, 1989.
