AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Thousand Five Hundred
Thirty Dollars ($8,530.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of footbridges in East
Breckenridge Footbridges (88024), in the Village of Breckenridge
Hills, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said
footbridges is Six Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-one Dollars
($6,881.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs and allowance for construction change
orders is One Thousand Six Hundred Forty-nine Dollars ($1,649.00),
and
WHEREAS, the Village of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri
has agreed to contribute Four Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-five
Dollars ($4,265.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Thousand Five Hundred
Thirty Dollars ($8,530.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of footbridges in East Breckenridge Footbridges (88024), in the
Village of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 12, 1989.
