AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-eight Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($58,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Skyview
Terrace (S-1712, C-1335), in the City of Normandy, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Forty-eight Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars
($48,868.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees and
allowance for construction change orders is Nine Thousand Six
Hundred Thirty-two Dollars ($9,632.00), and
WHEREAS, the City of Normandy, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Twenty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars
($29,250.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-eight Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($58,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Skyview Terrace (S-1712, C-1335), in the City of
Normandy, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 9, 1989.
