AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twelve Thousand Dollars
($12,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Union Road #3805 - Phase I
(88110), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars
($9,928.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement fees, and allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand Seventy-two Dollars
($2,072.00), and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, a participating property owner has agreed to
contribute Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twelve Thousand Dollars
($12,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Union Road #3805 - Phase I (88110), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 9, 1989.
