AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-eight Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($28,500.00) from the Mississippi River Operating
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of inlets,
manholes and pipe in Maintenance Repair Number 138 (88018), in the
Cities of Clayton, Richmond Heights, Maplewood, Olivette,
University City, and Overland, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said inlets,
manholes, and pipe is Twenty-three Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-
three Dollars ($23,973.00) and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs and
allowance for construction change orders is Four Thousand Five
Hundred Twenty-seven Dollars ($4,527.00),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-eight Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($28,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of inlets, manholes and pipe in Maintenance
Repair Number 138 (88018) in the Cities of Clayton, Richmond
Heights, Maplewood, Olivette, University City and Overland,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 13, 1989.
